Our bakery is named after Arturo, our Sourdough starter (lievito madre), whom we’ve embraced as a new family member. In Italy, it’s a tradition to name your sourdough starter like a child, recognizing the transformative power it brings to your kitchen and that’s what Arturo does to our creations.
Since we moved Downunder from Italy, our pursuit of flavors evocative of home turned into a delightful journey of exploration. The art of baking our own bread for us it’s about sharing a journey with the community, through our carefully crafted loaves, we bring the fellowship of Arturo to every house.
